Founded in 2015 by architects José Carlos Albo and Yair Limón, MDRN is a Mexico-based architecture studio rooted in the philosophies of brutalism, modernism, and functionalism, MDRN’s work embodies a raw, poetic dialogue between materiality and environment.

Graduates of ITESO (Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education), Albo and Yair have honed a design language that is both bold and restrained—where concrete meets nature, where shadows sculpt space, and where functionality is elevated to an art form.
